Choreographer and dancer based in Barcelona.
Graduated in Choreography and Performance in Conservatori Superior de Dansa (Institut del Teatre, Barcelona). As a dancer, she has worked for I.T.Dansa, Metros, Ramón Oller, Thomas Noone Dance and Norrdans. She also works as a teacher, interpreter and dance assistant for artists and companies such as Contrapunctus Danceport, Javier Guerrero, Empíric plataforma de experimentación escénica, and Institut del Teatre in Barcelona.
In 2011 she premiered in DanSat Festival her first piece, Her Name is Hysteria, as a collaborative work with Centre de Cultura de Dones Francesca Bonnemaison.
In 2016 she launched her company under the name Siberia. Her first piece, Empty Skin, was a finalist at Dance Awards by Institut del Teatre and was awarded in several choreographic contests.
By 2018, the long version of the piece Empty Skin premieres in Sat Theater. This project leads to a video dance called EMPTY, published by Nowness and shown in different festivals such as Chicago Dance Film Festival, Tiny Dance Film Fest (San Francisco), and Dansez Maintenant (Francia).
During this year (2018) the artist also created and produced La Jamalara de la Tratano, premiered in December of the same year.
Currently, Paloma is an associated artist to Sat Teatre as part of ALIANSAT platform: She is artist-in-residence in Graner, participating in project #FF90.
